Counselor

Life can hold many difficult turns, but I believe deeply in hope and healing. I have many years of social service experience in the areas of trauma, sexual and physical violence, grief and loss, domestic and international adoption, and the needs of vulnerable children, youth, and families. This varied background allows me to help explore whatever areas of life may be currently impacting you.

I am passionate about finding ways to heal the places where past pain affects current life and in helping people find meaning after grief and trauma.

Counselor

As a licensed counselor, I am honored and privileged to walk alongside people during seasons of life when extra encouragement, support, and hope are needed. Often life can be isolating and lonely, making our seasons of pain and loss even more difficult to bear. This is where the support of others can be so vital and help us continue moving through our season of difficulty into a brighter tomorrow.

I believe healing is the most transformative when you feel safe and secure while you wrestle through life’s questions and find your pathway to a courageous and empowered life.

I work with youth and their parents to simplify life challenges by finding practical solutions. I am passionate about assisting children and teens who are struggling with adoption, effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, academic struggles, or relational concerns.

For parents, I support you in facing the challenges of assisting your child.

For Adults, I'm passionate about your emotional/spiritual growth, and believe it reduces and resolves life challenges.

It is a deep honor and privilege to serve a wide range of clients with different backgrounds at various stages of life. I work to provide a safe space for individuals who are experiencing a variety of challenges:  personally, relationally, those working through and deconstructing from past spiritual hurts, those who have experienced marginalization, are experiencing various life changes, and are longing to take next steps in their growth and healing.

I specialize in working with individuals, from teenagers to adults, who are experiencing loss and transition, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, spiritual questions and struggles, and grief.  I am passionate about working alongside individuals who are seeking growth, healing, and are willing to work courageously towards greater self awareness, empowerment, recovery and hope.

Counselor

I provide individual therapy for preteens, teens, and young adults, and I am passionate about working with survivors of abuse and trauma and LGBTQIA+ adults. I believe a collaborative therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is a strong catalyst for progress and healing in therapy.

I value meeting a client where they are at, following their pace, and focusing on their strengths while supporting them in identifying solutions. I provide an empathetic and compassionate atmosphere for clients with a judgment-free and supportive approach.
